QRA

Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA)

Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) is a systematic technique that is used to estimate the cumulative likelihood of the consequences of hazards associated with a plant, facility or operation.

QRAs provide numerical estimates of risk and risk profile of the organization and nearby localities. Once risk is quantified effective control measures can be implemented. QRA is also used for preparation on onsite emergency response plan and training of emergency responders and planners.

Ark Safety have extensive experience in the field of risk management of major accident hazard facilities including liquid terminals and mega industries. We have conducted Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) for various facilities using ALOHA and MARPLOT software

Examples of facilities analysed include:

  • Ammonia Storage and Handling facilities
  • Propane Storage and Handling facilities
  • LPG Storage and Handling facilities
  • LNG Storage and Handling facilities
  • Hydrogen Storage and Handling facilities
  • Flammable Liquid Storage and Handling facilities
  • Bulk liquid terminals
  • Chlorine storage and Handling facilities
